Back in the COVID's 2019 at Art Basel Miami, known to some as the “Running of the Billionaires”, a satirical Italian artist stirred the art community with a simple piece: a banana duct-taped to a wall. Despite the presence of masterpieces by legends like Picasso and Basquiat, the banana became an instant sensation, sold in a limited edition of three for $120,000 each.
